Carrots Glacees Recipe

A nice tasting carrot recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Large carrots
  • 1/3 c Water
  • 2 tb French dijon mustard
  • 3 ea Green onions, chopped fine
  • 3 tb Butter
  • 1/4 c Light brown sugar
  • 2 tb Minced parsley

Directions

  1. Peel the carrots and cut into thin sliced
  2. Place the butter in a 4 cup microwave safe dish
  3. Melt 1 minute at high
  4. Add the carrots and the water
  5. Stir well, cover
  6. Microwave 7 minutes at high
  7. Stir, then add the remaining ingredients
  8. Stir until well mixed
  9. Microwave, uncovered, 5 to 7 minutes at medium, stirring 2 or 3 times during the cooking period.
