Cheesy Broiled Flounder Recipe

This flounder recipe is simple and quick to make. Experiment with the cheese and mayonaisse amounts to meet your needs, or ensure that you are using fat free items as necessary to keep the fish healthy!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Flounder or white fish
  • 1/2 c Parmesian cheese
  • 3 tb Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 2 tb Lemon juice
  • 1/4 c Butter, softened
  • 3 Green onions, chopped
  • Dash of hot sauce

Directions

  1. Place fillets in a single layer on a lightly greased shallow broiler pan. Brush lightly with lemon juice
  2. Combine next 6 ingredients in a small bowl and set aside
  3. Broil fillets 4 to 6 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork
  4. Remove from oven; spread with cheese mixture
  5. Broil an additional 30 seconds or until cheese is lightly browned and bubbly
  6. Garnish with lemon twists and parsley if desired.
