Fresh canned tomato sauce recipe

Ingredients

  • 10 c Tomatoes
  • 1 ts White pepper
  • 2 c Fresh basil
  • 1 tb Sugar
  • 1 ts Salt

Directions

  1. Tomatoes: Peeled, cored, seeded, and chopped, very ripe
  2. Place all ingredients in heavy saucepan over medium heat
  3. Bring to boil
  4. Lower heat and cook for 20 minutes
  5. Pour into sterilized containers and freeze
  6. Makes: 6 pint jars.
