Oriental Cashew Crunch Recipe

Great snack, easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 16 oz pkg Quaker Oat Squares (8 C)
  • 1 3oz can chow mein noodles (1 1/2 C)
  • 1 C cashews or peanuts
  • 1/3 C vegetable oil
  • 3 T soy sauce
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 t onion powder

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 250 degrees F. Combine first 3 ingredients in 13x9 pan. Set aside.
  2. Combine remaining 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Quickly pour over cereal mixture. Stir to coat evenly.
  3. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
  4. Cool and serve. Makes 10 cups.
