Turkey Cranberry Relish Scoops

Recipe: Turkey Cranberry Relish Scoops
Recipe Description: This refreshing relish came about when my sister made a wonderful gelatin salad for dessert on Thanksgiving. Cranberry is a favorite flavor for both of us, but this dessert was more refreshing and flavorful than any cranberry combination I\'d had before. A few changes later, these traditional ingredients have a new life in these festive bites for any holiday party.

Hot and Spicy Chili

Recipe: Hot and Spicy Chili
Recipe Description: Fixing up a spicy chili recipe is one of our favorite things to do on Saturday or Sunday afternoons in the fall. Watching college or pro football with a bowl of chili with all of the fixin\'s and a cold beverage of choice always equated to good family time.

Of course you can always take the spice level to what ever your comfort level is by adding additional chili peppers or extra cumin. Just keep it to a level that is good to taste as well as spicy.

Mexican Chicken with Corn and Black Beans

Recipe: Mexican Chicken with Corn and Black Beans
Recipe Description: Of all of our chicken crockpot recipes, this is the one that we use when we are running late in the morning and need to put together a good meal for that night. If the chicken is thawed, you can have this in the crock pot and cooking in about 5 minutes.
You can always experiment with different cheese as you choose. I find that shredded Mexican cheese is a great substitute for cheddar.

Pico de Gallo

Recipe: Pico de Gallo
Recipe Description: This salsa is absolutely great when you can use all fresh from the garden tomatos and peppers. I\'ll assume you don\'t grow sweet onions in your garden, but if you do, please use them.

There are many people who do not like to put salsa in the refrigeratory because they feel that tomatos lose some texture and therefore flavor. I am in the middle on it. I like my salsa chilled, but then like for us to finish it in one sitting.

We also like to add a little bit of light beer to this mixture but it is totally optional. If you do, I always like a really light Mexican beer. About a quarter of a cup is enough, as it adds just a little extra flavor.
